Delete account

This is a translation for convenience. The German version is legally binding.

You can delete your account at any time. You can do this directly in the app or, if you no longer have the app installed, by email.

In the app

1. Open Time K and sign in.
2. Open your profile: on iPhone via "My profile", on Android via Settings → Profile.
3. Tap "Delete account" and confirm with your password.

The deletion takes effect immediately. You are then signed out and the app removes all locally stored data.

By email

Write from the email address you registered with to mail@knabe-gmbh.de with the subject "Delete account" and your username. We confirm receipt, check that the request comes from you and delete your account within one month – usually within a few days. You then receive a confirmation.

What is deleted

• account and profile data: username, email address, name, home base, airline, position, password hash, sign-ins
• rosters and crew details
• colleague connections, trade offers and family accesses
• watched flights and push registrations
• your profile picture
• your check-ins at destinations, your ratings of crew tips, your block list and your reports
• the roster reminder log and the "last seen" entry

What remains without your name

Your destination chat messages, your comments and your published crew tips remain without your name and appear as "Deleted user". Chat messages are deleted 30 days after sending anyway. If you would like us to delete tips and comments completely as well, say so in your email.

What is kept for a limited time

• encrypted database backups: up to 14 days
• reports by others about your content: until the decision and six months thereafter
• log of moderation decisions (without content): twelve months
• technical error reports (without username): at most twelve months
• data we must keep due to legal obligations, for the statutory period

Signing out is not deleting

If you only sign out, the app deletes the data on your device. Your account and the data on our server remain until you delete the account.
